Battery replacement

When it's time to replace battery. Is it mounted /Removed from underside, or must Cab/Box be removed?

I read that the battery tray is attached via 8 bolts. To replace the batteries, the 8 bolts are removed and the tray can be lowered. Sounded very simple and low cost, labor-wise

For what it’s worth, Fords website appears to show a battery warranty of 8 years 100K miles.

So it’ll be a while before you’d even have to worry about it out of pocket.
