Bluecruise Sensors Active when truck not Started or in use - Is this normal?

Hello all,

I was looking at the security cam in my garage this morning and I noticed the Bluecruise sensors seemed to be active and observing the driver location even when the truck was not started and no one was present in the vehicle, I could not upload video but you can see in the screen caps from the video the flickering IR light from the Bluecruise going on and off:

. This seems like a waste of energy and was wondering if this is normal and if others are seeing the same thing?

It's just the government. Nothing to be concerned about.

I have not seen that on my truck but I don't keep mine plugged in after it charges i unplug. i would like to know if it is on when it is not on the charger
