The Lightning is going into production soon so Chevy had the advantage of one-upping the Lightning in regards to most specs. However, the Lightning absolutely crushes the Silverado EV when it comes to the payload. The Lightning can be optioned to handle 2,000 lbs of payload and the max Silverado EV payload is a reported 1,300 lbs. So if you're going to be towing anything with your all-electric truck, the Lightning will be ready soon to handle that workload.
