So close

So if numbers are right they will make 15,000 2022 lightning. My vin puts it right at end. My number is 14,497
I called Ford yesterday and the “lightning specialist” Told me they were making 80,000 of them next year. Who knows if this is accurate.

80,000 sounds about right, as they are expanding the REV(Rouge) plant, and increasing 'speed' on the line, and higher new workers, etc., but the process will take SOME time before they get to anywhere close to 150,000 per year(which may be also including the soon-coming TN BlueOval facility, yet to be built)...

My Lariat is 10919 and i just go the "Your Vehicle is scheduled for production" email on Aug 19th.
Email says Scheduled for Sept 5th.

With roughly 15k 2022 Lightings manufactured this year the trucks will be in very short supply with extremely high consumer demand. 2022 F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T production will be roughly the same for model year 2022.

Many dealers are taking advantage of the current market and tacking on ADM. Rivian R1T buyers don’t have to face this unscrupulous dealer practice due to Rivian’s different business model.

I reserved my truck on 5/20/21. I got my "Its time to order your new Ford" email on 4/13 and ordered that same day with email confirmation from Ford. I got my "Scheduled for Production" email on Aug 19th.

My scenario might be a little different than yours, because my dealer only has one truck allocated to them and I was lucky enough to have the first guy cancel is order. I actually got an email back on Mar 4th saying that I was being being pushed to 2023 model and then got the "ok to Order" email on Apr 13th. I really thought it was a scam.. lol.

Just got this today!!
