So I have read several things about the Lightning topping out between 105-107, probably based on many conditions like wind, temp, up hill, down hill, drafting someone, etc.
Some suggested Ford choose this due to tire rating of 120mph, others mentioned RPM limit of the motors.
Tires can easily be upgraded to handle more speed, V rating as example is 149mph. So does anyone know for sure if they kept it at 106ish due to tires, or if some technical limitation of RPM in motors?
I would love to see an option to set higher with good tires for a track day or similar option.
