When will Ford start converting 23 to orders

When can I order a 2023 Lightning?


Thanks to folks at the Lightning Owners forum, we now have more information on the matter. According to Ford's Fleet Distribution News Bulletin, the first units of the 2023 F-150 Lightning will roll off the production line on October 10, 2022. The order book opening for the 2023 model date is still marked as TBD.May 19, 2022


10/09/2022 - 2022MY Balance Out Date. TBD - 2023MY Order Bank Open Date. 08/04/2022 - 2023MY Scheduling Begins. 10/10/2022 - 2023MY Job #1 Date.

Is Ford still working on May 19, 2021 reservations? The rest of us May 2021 reservation holders would sure like to know. (As would June, July and August 2021 reservation holders!)

Scheduling production starts August 4 for the 2023 Lightning so I believe wave one will be July 7 or the 14. It seems they always did on a Wednesday or Thursday
