2023 Lariat ER - Received my “Built” Status

Just wanted to let everyone know that I checked my order status yesterday and the 2023 Lariat ER I ordered shifted from “In Production” to “Built”!

Here’s a summary:

Ordered: 11/15/2022
Scheduled For Production e-Mail: 11/21/2022
Scheduled for Production Date: Week of 12/12/2022
In Production Status: 12/14/2022
Built Status: 12/24/2022

Well i am glad for you but my build week is 12/19 and the blend date is 12/22 but they told me it went into production on 12/7 so I thought i would get it built 12/24 so now it looks like Jan

Just a quick update - got the email from Ford reflecting what the website indicated…the estimated delivery at dealer is between 12/29/22 and - 1/4/23. I also spoke to my dealer - they like about 2 days to prep and check it so latest is 1/6! I am psyched!

Did you have the spray in bedliner? My dates are very close to yours.

Yes - spray in Brnliner included.

Well frunk I finally got to order my lightning Lariat today 12/27/22 , it's been a long wait. Not we'll see how long it takes to be manufactured. I reserved 5/25/22 iam in no rush. Haha.

Yes - this came a bit sooner that we expected - was really aiming for Spring 2023 but we can make it work!

With the 3rd 10 hour shift they seem to be cranking them out faster than before.

I have a question my dealer tells me I can't get the heated steering wheel on the Lariat I ordered. If I can't someone please tell me why. I had to tell my dealer to drop the scales, that's a 650 deduction that inside security think is a 50 deduction the charger is a 500 deduction he said the steering wheel is a 140 deduction. I want the heated steering wheel someone on here please tell me what I have to do to get it

I think this is a chip issue. You probably need to call Ford to get this answered.

Reservation Date: 05/19/2021 (42nd Birthday)
Original Order Date: 04/12/2022
Extended Reservation Date: 04/18/2022
Changed My Dealership Date: 08/07/2022
Invitation to Order Date: 08/24/2022
Order 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat ER Date: 08/26/2022
Scheduled for Production Date: 12/12/2022
Built Date: 12/22/2022
Awaiting Delivery Date: ????

I called Ford Marketing and got the following info from 3 different people, they all gave me different info though:
Canadian National Railways
Rail Car Number - TTGX707675
Ramp 51
FlatRock, Michigan
Possible Delivery between Jan 5th-11th
Price Protection of $8,500

Hi Don They tell me they can not get the chip for the heated steering wheel. Kstype siad his dealer told him that it is installed but no chip and you can bring it back to the dealer and the will install it latter. but I do not think so because the deduct the money for the steering wheel. It don't make sense to me because all this stuff but my bottom line show only -$640 and the interest rate go's up on a Lightning but a F 150 or F 250 gets 1.9 for a 2022 and 2.9 for a 2023. They are charging $500 for the charge. Look at my sticker

I saw this in another forum, sounds like all of us are going to get them installed at some point for free by the dealership at a time to be given later.

Your sticker indicates that it is being delivered via “convoy”. I am pretty sure that would be by truck not by train.

Yes, I said the same to Marketing, but they said the end of the transport would be by Convoy, coming from Michigan to California would need to start by Rail according to them. I was also confused by my sticker.

Really good news. Congratulations.
It looks like from your earlier posts that the blend date was 12/14, the build was completed by 12/24 and it was shipped on 1/02. That is a pretty reasonable time schedule for Ford. It looks like they are getting their act together with this process.
