Have you heard any information on whether the Federal EV $7500 Rebate will be available on the new Lightning?

I wouldn't see why not. With the ability to write off F-150's on your taxes already, and the EV rebate, I think these trucks will be super popular.

I guess my question is, how would the rebate be handled for a lease (if Ford allows leases - I wonder if they will test Lightning as a specialty vehicle like Raptor and not offer lease - hmm).

There might be some accelerated depreciation for EVs issued by the new administration, but for now, here's the IRS tax code.

The $7500 rebate should apply for at least the first 30,000-50,000 or so purchased as Ford should have about that many of their 200,000 allotted credits available when the truck comes out along with sales of Mach-e vehicles and plug in hybrid escapes.
There is a good chance the 200,000 cap gets increased with new legislation as part of Biden’s push for EVs and infrastructure.

you're overly conservative with 50K cap... i'd think its at least twice that since Mach E is not going to make 100K sales faster than lightning
