Thanks for posting this, I don't know how accurate it will be or how relevant it will be if orders really open this week. But it helped me to configure my 'dream' version of the Lightning!

Build and price is now open. Lariat with extended range battery (only available with 511 package) comes in just under $80K.....for my needs, I can't justify the price when I can get a Rivian with 314 mile range for under $70K or the Lightning Pro model for less than half the price of the Lariat ER.

That pricing is brutal, I'm a NO... "XLT starting at $52k", but $84k for an XLT with options I want + tax...

Yeah, they are really forcing you to go with the Lariat Premium to get the best value - but that is pretty pricey. I might still order, but man does it sting!

Right Lariat Premium is only a few $k more, so what's the point of XLT... but then any opption you add on Lariat+ pushes it over the $80k(if that EV bill gets revived) so you are over the cutoff

True, but I think it is very unlikely the BBB Act will become law, it looks DOA.

Right, but I mean just the EV provision... they move provisions around all the time. It wasn't originally part of BBB... But yeah. it's a long shot
The new Lightning sure does get expensive quickly! I'm really going to have to do some soul searching to see what options I can live without. Since this is basically an in-town/close-to-town vehicle for me, it's tough to spend $80k for the model and options I really want.
